IMTM is the largest annual professional tourism fair of its kind in the Eastern Mediterranean, and your chance to reach the most widely traveled group of people in the world, the Israelis! The Israeli public registers over 4 million trips abroad per year. Israelis travel increasingly frequent, with a generous spending budget and average stays of 4-10 nights. This is more than all other travelers in the region, and even some European tourists. In the last 7 years, the Israeli Business Tourism to Europe and other worldwide destinations for Conferences & Incentives Trips has also seen a major development. Israelis are reputable for their love to travel and visit and discover new countries and sites every year on one hand; on the other hand they like to visit the countries of origin of their families, or to show their families their own youth adventure destinations.
IMTM 2011 will be held under the auspices of the Israel Ministry of Tourism; their continued generous support insures a significant promotional budget. Other sponsors in IMTM 2011 are the Israel Tourist & Travel Association, the Israel Hotel Association & the Association for
Tourism Tel Aviv-Jaffa, as well as the El Al Israel Airlines, which took part in the hosted buyers program during the IMTM2010, together with the Israeli Ministry of Tourism:
Cultural Tourism is a global mega-trend. An increasing number of people are deciding where to spend their vacations based on the cultural attractions on offer at different destinations. Wellness or cultural tourism, beach holidays or city breaks, package tours or tailor-made trips… All these options can be seen on-site, and discussed in the Annual Tourism Forum and the various international presentations.
Considering its popularity during the past IMTM editions, we will naturally continue to offer the successful “IMTM Business Lounge” for personal business meetings for the Exhibitors & hosted buyers from abroad, in order to assist participants in developing their business connections in Israel.
Don’t miss this opportunity to promote your destination in the next IMTM. Please note that participation will allow you to arrange a special meeting/presentation/workshop at no additional payment for the hall.
