Israel is known as the silicon valley of water. Israel has been confronted with extremely limited natural resources due to its location and terrain, it has had to develop innovative water technologies and waste water treatment and is becoming a world leader in the field of clean tech, today Israel is reusing 70% of its water nationally.
There had been an ambitious $13 billion Australian Federal investment plan in water technologies, coupled with the progress of major gas and mining projects in WA’s north, have made Perth a very interesting destination for innovators in water technology, clean technology which are predominant in the mining sector, agricultural sector, energy sector plus many more.
With Israel being one of the world leaders in clean tech and water technology, there is a clear synergy between these sectors and vast opportunities for collaboration between the two countries.
