Time Magazine recently published their list of 2018’s 50 ‘genius companies’. The list was based on nominations by editors and correspondents who considered which companies are shaping the future. The list is dominated by many of the largest companies in the world including Apple, Disney, Airbnb and Amazon. However joining them on the list are three Israeli companies:
Aidoc identifies disease through analysing images of organs with Artificial intelligence powered software. AI enables the software to analyse over 260,000 images and greatly reduce the human work traditionally necessary.
Lishtot have created a device that can be kept on your keychain, which is capable of testing the quality of water and determine if it is suitable to be consumed. The groundbreaking technology currently has the ability to detect 20 contaminants including lead, arsenic and E. coli.
WeWork provides shared workspaces for corporations of all sizes including startups and the largest organisations. It currently has over 300 locations in almost 70 cities and is ‘valued at over $20 billion dollars’. WeWork have also recently branched out into furnished apartments with shared living spaces through a new venture called WeLive.
