- As healthcare facilities seek to limit patients’ exposure to coronavirus while delivering accessible care to those in need, use of telehealth solutions has surged. Tyto Care, founded in 2012, is a leading telehealth provider that connects patients and clinicians using a hand-held, all-in-one diagnostic tool for examining the heart, lungs, skin, ears, throat, abdomen, and body temperature. The company’s platform supports video exams, the sharing of exam data, and appointment scheduling, and has been used by doctors in Israel and the United States as they respond to coronavirus.
- Biobeat’s wearable devices enable medical-grade, non-invasive, continuous monitoring of patients’ vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, stroke volume, cardiac output, and more. The device sends data to care providers via the company’s cloud-based system.
- Founded in 2011, Inovytec Medical Solutions develops emergency critical care devices, including an automated oxy-defibrillator, an upper-airway opening device, and an ultralight ventilator.
