The Israel Trade Commission, together with PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia and Bank Leumi Le-Israel (Australia) would like to invite you to a private reception to launch the ‘Israeli Business Forum’.

The ‘Israeli Business Forum’ will honour and celebrate the vibrant Israeli business community in Australia. This will give the Israeli business community and representatives of Israeli companies in Australia a platform to share and discuss issues that are related to our mutual interests.

This night will also be the official launch of the new website for the Israel Trade Commission.

The IT from the ITC seminar will launch two delegations showcasing Israeli Technology.

 The first is ‘The Israeli Pavilion at Mobile World Barcelona 2010’. There will be around 50 Israeli companies exhibiting in February 2010 in Barcelona. I encourage the Australian companies travelling to Barcelona to schedule one-on-one meetings in advance, through the local Israel Trade Commission in Sydney.

It will also launch the ‘IT Trade Delegation’ from Australia to Israel in March 2010.   

In the past couple of decades, Israel has emerged as a leading supplier for the global telecommunications industry. Producing cutting-edge, innovative technologies, Israeli communications companies continue to attract top-tier institutional investors.

The telecommunications industry of Israel is a leading exporter of equipment and systems for the global market, with products and services rank among the worlds most sophisticated and advanced of their kind.

The Israel Trade Commission held a private reception to honour the vibrant Australian and Israeli business communities in their bilateral trade initiatives and to hear from one of Australia’s most engaging economists, Tim Harcourt. The Awards were well attended, with leading trading companies being recognized for their ongoing effort and support of the Australia-Israel trade.

Israel sent a delegation of water technology companies to Australia to participate in OzWater 2009 in Melbourne from the 16^th to the 18^th March. The Israeli delegation represented the leading Israeli water technology companies working on ground-breaking projects both within Israel and around the world.

The Israeli delegation attended OzWater 2009 where they addressed a wide range of issues facing the current Australian market such as major national water reforms, climate change and its impacts, technological advances and the challenges of human resources to name a few. The delegation featured their products and services in one of the largest pavilions at the exhibition, where they met with local and state water utility boards, as well water management groups and system integrators. In addition, the delegation presented to leaders in the Australian water sector at the Israel Newtech Seminar on Tuesday 17^th March.
